Aluminium is a light metal which means expansion and contractions is greater when exposed to varying temperature conditions (heat & cold) than other more solid metals.
Once the metal expands and contracts beyond the ranges that the paint can, then cracking, peeling and flaking of the paint layer can appear.
In addition to that, the surface of it is one with less tooth so everything has difficulties sticking to it. We recommend always using our ALUMINIUM Primer and if possible, lightly sand the surface before application of each layer (primer and paint) to create tooth.
LEGAL NOTE Every project is unique and individual. Factors such as the elements, substrate material, undercoating, and ambient room temperature all influence the application quality and drying time of the coating being applied. For best results, allow the longest possible drying time to prevent problems occurring during the curing process.
